Graduation
The Raza Resource Centro is proud to announce their 7th annual Xicanx/Latinx Graduation ceremony. The event is intended to highlight the achievement of higher education completion in all degree fields for the Latinx student community. Self-identified Latinx students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Sciences, Master of Arts, Master of Sciences, Medicine Doctorate, and Ph.D. are eligible to participate.
The Centro will be holding graduation on June 14, 2024. Students who sign up to participate in the event will receive the graduation sash and program. Students must sign up by Spring 2024. In addition, the Centro will be highlight graduates via the Instagram account @RRCXiLatGrad.

Registration for this event will open Winter 2024.
Student Speaker:
Details on auditions for the student speaker position will be emailed to students who confirm participation in the graduation by signing up and providing a fully refundable deposit.
Cost:
The event is free of cost for all students and their families.
Deposit:
Students will need to provide a $25 fully refundable deposit to secure their participation spot. This deposit will be returned when they check-in to the event on Friday June 14, 2024. Deposits need to be made in person at the Raza Resource Centro or mailed to: 9500 Gilman Dr #0055, La Jolla, CA 92093, postmarked April 1, 2024.
Parking:
Parking will be provided free of cost for all families in the Gilman Parking Structure starting at 3pm.
Families are also encouraged to use public transit via the Trolley, with the nearest station being adjacent to the graduation venue.

All participants will receive a graduation sash and a copy of the program during the ceremony. Sashes will not be handed out prior to the event.
