Chicano Alumni Council

The mission of UC San Diego Chicano Alumni is to positively represent the university's Chicano alumni community and foster a sense of connection among alumni and current Chicano and Latino students at UC San Diego. The group assists students in achieving academic and social success and supports outreach, recruitment, and retention efforts. They work closely with the San Diego Foundation to award student scholarships, support the annual Raza Graduation, organize social events in the community and support UC system-wide efforts to strengthen student-alumni engagement. Alumni Email for Life

UC San Diego now offers alumni a new and improved email service that allows you to send and receive @ucsd.edu messages to your personal or business mailbox of choice. Whether you are a recent graduate, a current alum, or a staff/faculty alum departing the university, this free service enables you to stay in touch with classmates and other members of the Triton community and offers a clear association with UC San Diego even after you leave. Log into your alumni account to sign up. A non-UC San Diego email address (i.e. yahoo or Gmail) is necessary in order to activate your permanent UC San Diego forwarding address.
