Incoming Students

Latinx Family Orientation Weekend

Separate from the college orientation, this family orientation weekend delivers tailored programming for  Latinx families. Participants will be able to engage with other incoming families, learn about campus resources, and get familiar with the campus. 

The orientation provides early move-in to those students with housing contracts and preliminary access to various campus departments and staff. This event is open to incoming students, including transfer and commuter students.

LGBTQIA Welcome Orientation

Each year the UC San Diego Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center hosts a Welcome Orientation event for first-year and transfer students that are part of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual + (LGBTQIA+) community. Our orientation includes information on on-campus resources, community-building opportunities, and a Q+A portion.
