Black/Latinx Family Orientation Weekend
Separate from the college orientation, this family orientation weekend delivers tailored programming for Black and Latinx families. Participants will be able to engage with other incoming families, learn about campus resources and get familiar with the campus.
The orientation provides early move-in to those students with housing contracts and preliminary access to various campus departments and staff. This event is open to incoming Fall 2021 students, including transfer and commuter students.
Registration and further information available August 2, 2021. For more information regarding this program, please visit Black/Latinx Family Orientation Weekend and for information regarding this program in Spanish, please visit Orientación Familiar en Español.
Noche de Consultas Familiares
Raza Resource Centro organizes Noche de Consultas Familiares where parents are able to meet staff and get their questions answered. During the consulta, parents have the opportunity to ask questions regarding anything related to UC San Diego. We have university staff available to respond to questions and advise parents with information needed to support their student.
Dates for 2022 TBD
