The Raza Resource Centro is proud to announce the fifth annual Xicanx/Latinx Graduation ceremony. The event is intended to highlight the achievement of higher education completion in all degree fields for the latinx student community. Self identified latinx students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Sciences, Master of Arts, Master of Sciences, Medicine Doctorate, and PhD are eligible to participate.

In order to better serve our diverse campus community, M.E.Ch.A. and the Raza Resouce Centro will each independently develop a different graduation ceremony, highlighting different areas of student needs and achievements, and collaborate to ensure a timely transition between ceremonies. M.E.Ch.A. will continue to implement the "M.E.Ch.A. de UCSD Raza Graduation", an event that will highlight graduating students who have made a mark in developing and creating social justice and activist orientated spaces for the campus community.

The Centro will continue to provide a graduation event despite of the current campus closure. The Centro will be holding a live virtual graduation on Friday June 11, 3PM PST. Students who sign up to participate in the event will receive a free graduation package that includes a graduation sash and program. Graduation Update:

On Thursday April 15, Chancellor Khosla announced the expansion of in-person events for the Spring Quarter 2021. Under the guidance of faculty and researchers, these expansion efforts have been carefully detailed and require campus approval. The 2021 Xi/Lat graduation is the biggest event we have organized, with over 500 graduating students. Due to the magnitude of the event and the close proximity to Commencement weekend, the event will continue to function in a virtual capacity to best accommodate all graduates and their guests. The event will take place on Friday June 11, 3pm PST.
