UC Insights

UC San Diego Raza Resource Centro (RRC) and Early Academic Outreach Program, in conjunction with the Intertribal Resource Center (ITRC) and the Office of Admissions, are hosting the 4th annual UC Insights Conference Program. This initiative aims to support applicants from traditionally underserved or under-represented communities in the writing portion (“personal statement”) of the UC application, known as UC Insights.

The program consists of a two part series, a writing workshop and a reading workshop. The writing workshop will consist of a writing jam lead by trained UCSD staff and students to study and analyze the key components necessary when writing a statement. The reading workshop will consist of students providing their written statements to be analyzed and critiqued by UC San Diego admissions counselors.

Students attending the program have a higher percentage into being accepted into UC San Diego. Please note that attending the program has no guarantee into being accepted into UC San Diego or any other UC school.
